Since 1983 when Van Rensselaer's was founded there have been great changes in how our products are marketed. However, only the trappings of selling "blind products" like diamonds, gemstones and jewelry have changed. What remains the same is the public reliance on our knowledge, ethics and trustworthiness. These human qualities form the bedrock of our business. They also provide the most valuable possible protection for our customers.
Amsterdam was the home of diamond merchant Killian Van Rensselaer. After living in Europe for ten years, the great grandson of Steven Van Rensselaer Morse, Steven Morse, returned home to Montana. He later opened a jewelry store, naming it after his ancestor.
